Grill and bottom half of the door panels are Duplicolor Truck bed liner. just did them this weekend. look great and it sits strong so far. Just gotta sand and clean the spray. remember to do sweeps with the spray can not back and forth, spray one way in a sweeping motion, (so start with the can pointing away from the surface and rotate it towards and away from the surface as you sweep.) this helps make the paint sit even and not have heavy spots from where you changed direction.

i used 150 grit sandpaper and took off the clearcoat, not too much tho, just roughed it all up a bit. then wiped it with a wet paper towel and a dry paper towel. the spray is prolly about a medium texture. similar to the way the fenders feel if you have the plastic off color fenders like i do.

I am sanding right now for the herculiner on mine. I am goung to do all the grey plastic on my 06'. That has probably medium to high texture.

So why do you all just paint the bottom half? I get as many scratches above that line as I do below it.

Almost all my scratches and dent are below the beltline. Only a handful ever made it above.
