As I back up every once in awhile, something towards the rear squeaks, it definatly is on the drivers side but I dont kno about the passenger side bc I cant stick my head out the window over there. But what happens is as I back up it will squeak then stop for about 1/2 tire rotation then start up then stop for another 1/2 roation. I got under the KJ to see if there was anything hitting the tire or if anything was even loose. But my brakes were dirty, so I cleaned them off, and no they arent squeaky clean  . But over all could it possilby be that something is on my disk brakes and as it goes through the caliper something is rubbing? any thoughts?

I had a squeak only in reverse, completely quiet when I rolled forward. Tom suggested it was my u joints and after replacing them, the squeak was gone.

U joints are pretty cheap so if you think their bad, you might as well replace them. There are different opinions out there on how to do the job but I'm no expert. There are lots of articles posted around the internet on how to do it.
