Hey guys, I was actually cleaning my CRD yesterday, took out the rubber mat in the back and noticed 4 black floor brackets behind the 2nd row of seating. What are these for? Was there a 3rd row seating option in these Liberty's? If so, does anyone have any idea where to find a 3rd row seat? Thanks! Jack |

I think you saw 4 places that can be used as tie down points. |

Yeah it would be a nice option, but I think seating would be extremely tight in a Liberty. The passengers back there wouldn't like you very much. |

Third row seating??? For who, your Guinea Pigs? Seriously...who would fit in third row seats in a Liberty? evolDiesel, I am not making fun of your question...but can you imagine? By the way, welcome to L.O.S.T. |

Actually there is a company that offers an aftermarket option for a third row seat for the liberty. I sent them an email asking about if they made one for the liberty and they said they were working on one and they responded 6-9 months ago (I was overseas, my wife got the letter) with a letter saying that they had come out with one just for the liberty. It fits side ways like a troop seat or jump seat, has seatbelts and is approved for highway use (supposed to be safe in a crash). They are mainly meant for kids, or smaller adults and not people with large rears like myself. If I find the website I will post it. |

Here is the website http://www.littlepassengerseats.com/ They don't list a Liberty, but I have a letter from the company that says they will make a seat for the Liberty if you want it. (The hold up before was they did not have a vehicle to test, but they claimed they now have tested one in the Liberty and have the appropriate setup). |

They are the tie-down points for the cargo net. The grocery hooks are on the back of the 2nd row seats. |

So long as their tied and gagged good and tight that shouldn't be a problem |

Just latch their shackles to the 4 tie down points mentioned above and your good to go IMHO. |
