I have a 05 Renegade. When temp drops at night and I go to start my jeep, the oil light comes on. If I turn the vehicle off and restart it, the goes away. I use the recommended oil weight. Any idea what the problem could be?

Neither on of my mirrors work. the fuse isn't blown. Where should I start?

Your oil sender could be going bad.. Replace it and that should take care of it. Have you checked ALL of the fuses? Seems as though some of the Liberty's fuse blocks don't necessarily match the fuse diagram lay out.

Is the sending unit an easy repair/replacement?

I'll double check the fuses.

Well easy to me and easy to you could be different. But yes it's easy. If you do it while the engine is cool, take the oil filter off. Stand it in the corner to reuse it. Use caution not to contaminate the filter. Or do this with your oil change. It sits just above the filter. Use a thread sealer on the new sender. Re install filter. Start check for leaks.

Sounds easy enough. Would you recommend purchasing the sender from my local jeep dealer or elsewhere?

Um? Thats a good question? I think it's a dealer order part but not to sure. Call both just to be sure. Keep us posted others might need the info sometime.
