Does any one know the proper reading you should get from a disconnected coil pack?
I forgot to check my new one before I installed it against the old one I just pulled.

I looked in my repair book but for some reason I do not have any section about coil pack testing. This is what I got as a resistanced:

So I decided to put in coil pack 6 and 2. I did not think to check the resistance on the new ones against the the old ones.

But on the 2 old ones I drew the following numbers

1.1 ohms from the top connection pins. from top cinnection pin to bottom inside spring i get a reading at first 59.32 then it drops to 7.48 then O.L.

on the other coil
1.8 then a drop to .7 then back to 1.3
inside spring to top pin 209.37 to .002 to 9.58 to O.L. I think this one is either shot or soon to be.

secondary resistance-6,000 to 9,000 ohms

Hope this helps.
