Anybody know what an OEM replacement radiator would cost me for an 02 Sport?

I got one last year from Dirk at DPG For around 160.00 But I picked it up so I didn't have shipping. Not sure if it was OEM. But it looked the same.

ThunderbirdJunkie was not a fan of any of the 3 CSF radiators in his KJ.

For some reason...

Got a Visteon reman for $125 from parts plus.

I just did this at the dealer yesterday. $330.00 for the Mopar radiator for a 2002 KJ with the 45RFE transmission.

Break Down:
$330.00 for the Mopar Radiator
+ 2 hours of labor
New coolant and a touch of transmission fluid

= 510.xx + tax out the door.

Expensive Yes. But it's fixed.

same here on the dealer option. got a club discount on the one I use. $280 labor and $263 for the radiator. Still feel like I got screwed somehow. Replacement looked used to me but they swore it was new from Mopar. 12/12 warranty so I guess it doesn't matter. I needed it fixed in a hurry as the kid was taking it back to school today.

I would never pay the dealer to replace a radiator; at most I’d order it from them. That is one expensive fix for a radiator. Especially knowing how easy it is.

I replaced mine 2 years ago. I had a crack in that wonderful plastic...anyway I bought the rad from the dealership for 210. They guy is a moron, there, he told me 300 on the phone but in the 20 min for me to drive there he forgot and said...what did I say? I told him 200 and he just looked at me and said...210? So I got it, lol. Took about 2 hours to swap out. Not too bad but I did have to take off most of the front, the front grill and I did crack my fan shroud. It got stuck and my father in law and I yanked, lol.

In the end do it yourself. They have some nice all alum ones online for fairly cheap. Expect to pay around 300 if you do it yourself with all the fluids and what not.
