Depends on how deep his pocket book is Anything other then what he has already got in his Jeep(which will be about $3000-$4000 to replace/fix) your looking at $10,000+ for anything else and still be legal.Oh which he needs to in fact check into if it is legal to do in his state.Your looking at about $20,000+ to do a 4.7 V-8 swap and have it function correctly. |

Deep enough that he wants to keep the libby and put in a new engine but if it would be cheaper for a new Jeep he would go that way. |

Already replaced mine. 3.7 remaned. Emissions controls and laws governing prohibit using other engines. Some states allow swaps as long as a similar vehicle from same mfg has the new engine and it can be properly tuned. And it has to be newer than the vehicle its going into. Hey, who wouldn't like to see a Hemi in the Liberty? |
