I'm having quite the fun this month with things not working. First my AC compressor fan clutch dies, than the ac compressor literally exploded, than my maps sensor went so I could barley drive the darn thing to the garage. Now the glass of the rear gate won't stay shut without a large amount of force.. Any ideas gang? Is this a adjustment or a part?

You can always drive around with the rear glass open all the time. I've seen a few Libbys around here do that.

I don't think he necessarily wants to do that.

I greesed it up a bit better with no luck. Basically when I close it, it doesn't stay shut till I lean all my body weight on it. And the bigger issue is then I can physically pry it open very very easily even when it is locked :| Now its more of a security issue! I'm thinking of driving it over to my local jeep shop today and get them to take a loop, might just be a adjustment?

I guess the bolts that hold the lock came undone and it has now slipped to the rear...or to the front of the car, depends how you look at it.

Get the plastic cover of the tailgate and do it yourself?

Yeah, the one on the inside. So you can see the lock.
