My wife has been bugging me for another wrangler ever since I bought my KJ. She had one when we met, traded it in and now misses it.

Look what we bought tonight:

2003 with only 8000 miles on it. The moabs and tires are in perfect shape. Hard and soft top included. She is VERY happy now, to say the least.

Lets just say I got it for the same price others with 20 and 30000 miles on them go for around here. Bought it from an Acura dealership of all places.

Very cool. Good luck and lots of fun with it.

I saw a Rubicon in a parking lot tonite with a For Sale sign in the window.
Warn winch on the front, an axe and shovel mounted to the hood in front of the windshield.

My wife has the itch for either a second KJ or a Rubi.

WoW! Only 8K on a basically 3 yr old vehicle? Must be too cold to drive it in those Chicago winters, at least for the previous owner.

Like I said, I found it at an Acura Dealer. Some rich guy must have had it for a summer toy and decided to trade it on on a new MDX or something. Had to go snap it up while it existed. Used car manager there turns out to be a big jeep fanatic. We had a half hour conversation about all things KJ and TJ.

Man, you are just living the LIFE! I had to get rid of my 1974 CJ6 to get my diesel Liberty and I miss it terribly! Nothing better than the sound of that Inline-6 just lugging down the road or trail... 8)

Nice find! I was shopping a black 03 Rubi with 12k on the clock just last week. It was a Chevy stealership though and they wanted the same amount I could get a new Rubi for. Maybe I'll start shopping the Acura dealers instead!

Of course brochure claims 8.9" stock. From what point they measure, I have NO idea!

Hey dog_party there is a black Rubi for sale by owner here in Danville. If you like I will stop and check it out for you. It looks nice going down the road. We have had a lot of lay-offs here lately so it may be at a good price. If you want me to check it out just pm me and i will tomorrow on the way to work.

The brochure from DCX lists the Jeep liberty as 9 inches (prelowered '02). They measure from the center of the vehicle. Real ground clearance is measured at the lowest point of the vehicle.
