Post subject:  New Battery Suggestions

Ok, so I have my original battery, now over 6 years old and I noticed that "fuzz" corrosion on the negative terminal, so it's time for a new battery before another Upstate NY winter. I know the Optimas are going to be the first thing you think of, but since I don't have any high-drain devices and don't go off-road, I really don't want to spend that kind of money. So I'm fishing for ideas and suggestions. I also would like to know what size I need to. Is it 34/X? Interstate, Diehard...what's the best for the least? Thanks everybody! I always know I can count on you guys!

Interstate batteries.
Another option, Walmart sells it's own version of an Optima, same build type, just 'walmarted'.

Those Odyssey batteries look really expensive! I think I'm going to go with the Autozone Duralast Gold. HERE is a link to it. Thanks for all the suggestions! This one seems to be the perfect combination of Low price, Warranty and power.

I should have added that my TJ is running a 5 year old Red Top, and showing no signs of problems, but both my Jeeps have a Solargizer Battery Maintainer on them, so my battery life is projected to be ??
