For a while, my Liberty has been missing and idling very rough. One day a bit over a month ago, I got the blinking check engine light and Jeep barely was able to drive. Took it to the dealer and had the head replaced on the odd cylinder side. The CEL said misfire on 1, 3, 5.
It was still running rough. I took it back in and they said there was nothing wrong because there was no CEL on. Umm...can't quite a few things be wrong without throwing a code?
Well, it threw a code and started surging one morning on my way into work...I took it in and they replaced an 02 sensor in bank one sensor one.
Now, a week later, it still has a rough idle!
Any suggestions?
I am pretty annoyed with this situation..I bought what I thought was going to be a nice reliable vehicle...it was bought new, I followed the recommedned break in, it has always had dealer services and oil changes on time...and now it is a POS. I have had too many issues with this thing, and the local dealer is a PITA to deal with. I don't trust it on long trips. That's just bad...
