A dog jumped up on my pass door last night and scratched it up alittle. At first i was freaking out and almost got in my jeep and ran over its head. I got some Meguiars scratch-x and that made it look alittle better. Im thinking on getting it wet sanded and cleared. What do you all think i should do? A buffer would bring them out but then i would be left with no clear coat. And dont even say its trail damage. Ive got enough of that as is and im getting these scratches fixed. |

You've been DOGGED. That suks. I was "doored" on my driver side passanger door last week somewhere. Looks like Dent Wizard should be able to roll the dents out though. |

I detail cars, and for toughter scratches, I use '3M Finesse-It'. That may work. I found it at 'NAPA'. Afterwards, you'll need to follow up with a coat of wax over the area. |

Dent Wizard does great work, IMO. I received a door ding while Christmas shopping, and for $99 they removed the ding in my driver side door. I made an appt. with my dealer for oil, etc., and while it was there, they had Dent Wizard come fix the dent. |

I may go to walmart/napa/advance and see what all they have. The meguiars stuff is really for small scratches and is not abrasive at all. I used the scratch-x on it and then used the meguiars 3 step waxing process(paint cleaner, polish, then wax), which seems to of made it look better. Im sure after the wax wears off it will look worse. Ive had mono for 4 months now and my family is getting alittle woried about me. Im tring to take it easy for the rest of my christmas break, which is hard for me to do. |

3M finess-It II is the best for light scratches. I have used it quite a bit on even on Dark colored vehicles, including black. It works Great. |

Ahh, i like cats. This was at The GF's house and if that dog ever runs out in front of me like it always does, im not thinking twice about stopping. Hopefully he wont hurt the shocks to bad. |
