I know people on here say they are designed to fail in 30k miles blah blah. I wont have the jeep that long. I just want to get through the winter with it then trade for a new something or other.

Are there really any serious issues with going with a Monroe Sensatrack or is it just not prefered? As long as it fits and does leak and bounce me all over the road like my Rustys ones ill be happy.

Its not that they are bad per se, just will not hold up as long and the valving will be softer , but if that all you want them for is for a few months then I guess they would work

For the price they are asking, I'd just as soon go with the tried and true Rancho's.

If your trading the KJ in anyways in a few months just live with the bad ride and save the money from not installing new struts(shocks).

Yea youre prob right. I put my halfshafts back in yesterday and I dont get the clunking i heard when i took em out in april when i did my steering rack. Im sick of spending money on the jeep so i guess i could live with the blown out strut for a little bit and save the $200 for something else like XMAS...

Anyone wanna buy an 02 KJ???
