The plastic handle used to pull the hood release has broken. I can use a pair of pliers to grab the cable and give it a yank, ant the latch will release, but thats a PITA.I'm wondering if I could just install some of those hood pins the old muscle cars used to have, and just do away with the remote latch. Any thoughts? |

I've thought of the same thing. I think it would look cool. |

With the protusions through the hood of the pins, they might look at them as hazardous, and refuse an inspection sticker/certificate. |
