I have on 05 Liberty and need to know if the clear bumper signals I found on ebay for 15.99 for both will fit on my 05, it says they are for 02-04 Liberty....the tails lights will fit so I am assuming that the bumper signals will fit as well but wanna know before I go ahead and buy em |

Like Tom said...they're different. Just look at the shape of them, they're quite obviously different. I don't think I've ever seen the clear signal for 05 and up Liberty's on eBay. I'm not sure if they're even out there? |

I may be wrong, but I think I read somewhere that a guy used brake fluid to change the color of his turn signal covers. I know that sounds stupid, because the color is all the way through the thickness of the plastic. But I swear that I read that somewhere. He took the lense off and kept rubbing both sides with a rag soaked in brake fluid. May have been an older car though, don't recall. I want to say that it was an 80's model LeBaron or Daytona. |

I haven't heard of brake fluid changing the color before. Could work. Try it on some junk part to see what it does. I've used the VHT niteshades tint on my previous vehicle along with clear-coat after tinting. It was easy to do and came out great. |

Isn't the OP looking for a clear lens? Applying tint doesn't make it clear |

Though smoked and clear turn signals and side marker lights are all the rage among the 'Tuner crowd, remember that you must use amber color bulbs in them since by law these markers must show amber light. Also front retro-reflectors must be amber in North America: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automotive_lighting It appears that most law enforcement don't care,... but if they are looking for an excuse to pull you over... |

I installed the smoked lens in front of my '02 which came with amber bulbs. I've seen "nite shades" on the shelf and wondered what that was used for? |
