| Post subject: | Towing your liberty.. |
I am trying to talk my father into buying a Liberty. His only real concern is towing it behind his motor home. Does anyone tow their liberty? I wonder if there are any issues and how you were towing it. His last worry is the weight but I am not sure on what his motor home is capable of. I know its older and pretty heavy as it is. He currently tows a 1996 Wrangler Sahara which I am trying to talk him into selling and getting a used Liberty. Any feedback is appreciated. |

Lots of people tow Libertys. Ask Fulltimer he did for a while I think. Should not be a problem at all. I saw like ten over the last Holiday being towed behind motorhomes ( all stockers |

Not sure why he would have any issues. With 4wd all he does is put the tcase in N and the tranny in P. Should be good to go. As sad as it is I see them being towed behind motor homes all the time. Liberty weighs around 4k. |

As long as it is 4WD there is no problem. Tom's right, I did it for 6 years while I lived in the motorhome traveling around the country. Terry |

Everything that makes a wrangler good to tow behind a motorhome is the same with the KJ |
