Post subject:  Wheel bearing or whole hub assembly thing??

Hey guys. a couple months ago when i got my jeep aligned the guy said my wheel bearings were on their way out.. and after i took my 1.5" wheel spacers off and put my KK clevis on (sitting at 22.75") now every time I turn left there's a strong pop noise.. and now driving like that for a couple days you can kind of hear it when i turn right.. it also doesn't feel right going over speed bumps. could i just get new bearings? or do i really need to buy all new hubs?

$25 in parts is a whole heck of alot better for me than $350 in parts..

LMK what ya think please

Thanks, Chase

The KJ uses a non-serviceable unit bearing(as does 99% of all new vehicles made today),you have to buy the whole unit as you can not just replace the bearings themselfs let alone grease them.

QUESTION:

I noticed a company selling a left and a right wheel bearing hub assembly (Timken). Is there such a thing as left and right? Another place I checked sells the Timken's but don't say anything about left and right.

My guess is there is no difference. I just want to check though. They also sell them in pairs (You have to buy 2 Lefts and buy 2 Rights).

I am wondering if there is a difference due to the ABS. Non-ABS list one type only.

Anyone got any experience with partsgeek.com?

Yeah, there is a difference between abs and Non abs.

Not too sure about the left right though.
