That is so funny this guy made it up your way. I saw him in my towe in NY in early summer this year. I talked to that guy and asked what is all that about. He said just raido hobby. He showed me the inside and all I could say Hope you got fire ins on this puppy and I hope you have the correct support for all that. I have seen less wires in one of my network data centers LOL |

Well his Call sign is on license plate. So if you HAM, you can talk with him.. Sorry , that is just sad... There are better ways to do radio than that.. |

I found it on a HAM radio website that was reporting on a recent hamfest. I did not see this myself. I think all that gadgetry is temporary and not attached all the time. You can kind of see how the antennas are mounted on some sort of hitch-looking bracket. John ];') |

I'd bet the guy can roast burgers and hot dogs up there on the roof with the gain turned up. While talking to folks in Taiwan at the same time! Shew, what a rig. |

This is just a wild guess but I imagine he is into contesting... Probably has more $$$ in electronics than the SFA guys have in their entire rigs. Have you seen some HAM guys contesting setups? John ];') |

John ];') Either that, or participating in the annual 'field day' event... looks like he brought all the toys to this one. I do a little with radio, and am about ready to pick up my tech license... from there, there is no limit to the size of the money pit you can do. |
