So, I was running Soft 8s for the last couple years. Now the MTRs are pretty worn out so I went back to the nearly new Silentarmors that are on the stock rims. Since I only have four that are 245/70-17, I put one of the 245/75-16 MTRs on the spare mount. Checked the pressure in all of them and not two minutes down the road, the TPMS light went off! I thought it was supposed to stay lit if the spare was low or, in my case, missing the sensor. Or does the system disregard the spare if there isn't one? |
