I am thinking about selling my jeep. I was wondering if anyone thinks I could sell it for what I owe on it witch is between 11,000 and 11,500, the KBB is EXCELLENT 11,155 and GOOD 10,455. My jeep 2006 Sport has... 72,000miles OEM CD player with Sirius Cruise Control Driver power seat 4x4 Daystar lift New 245 75 16 AT like mud tires moabs surco rack and other stuff but I just wanted to see if you guys think I have a chance of selling it for what i owe here is the most recent pic i have it sits a little higher in the front now
Let me know if I you think I have a chance. NOTE THIS JEEP IS NOT FOR SALE AT THIS TIME! |

With all the mods you would have to find that one person that wants it that way, otherwise all the mods done severely decreases the value. As a trade in you'd never get anywhere close to your payoff, and like I stated you'd have to find that one person to private sell it for your payoff.Sorry but that is just life and with the economy like it is just makes it worse and so does the fact you can buy a brand new Liberty for about $14,000-$15,000 nowdays. |

last winter I was shopping and found quite a few 05's with 40-50k miles for around 9,500-11,000. Bought my renny with 42k miles for like $9,200. I think your miles are going to hurt you, and at the rate you put them on, they'll probably continue to outpace your payments. |

Most seem to be going at or under 10k these days... early models approaching 100k miles are hitting the 5-7k mark pretty regularly... lame, I know... but true |

When you think about it, most Jeep 'enthusiasts' when shopping for a Jeep are looking for a CJ/YJ/TJ/JK... and sometimes XJ. The Libby's won't come up high on the list.... most reliable Libby shoppers are going to be parents looking for a vehicle for their kids, and with the exception of the power seat and sat radio, none of the goodies that are on your KJ are going to help move that sale. And while a dealership might be happy to take your Jeep in trade-in (when I pulled up in my TJ to purchase my KJ, they were so excited thinking they were getting a trade-in!), KBB is going to be their document for arguing their case, and your high mileage kills you there. |

Been there done that, I have a 04' limited loaded to the maximum, only 37000 miles and the most I got from the plethora of dealers I went to was $9k |

i almost traded my Liberty in a month ago for either an 09 Wrangler 2-door 6-speed or an 06 Unlimited 6-speed, but they were only going to give me 6 for mine and i still owe 8 on it. so i figured for how much money i put into it, and only another year and a half to 2 years of payments and its payed off, im just going to keep it. i would miss it anyways. i sold my 89 Wrangler 5-speed sahara and regretted it the next month, and still do to this day, i miss that thing so much. |

You may have a good chance if you can find the right buyer. on that wants and likes your mods. Your jeep is just a sport with more than what is thought to be "low milage" and it has a Gas v6 which is pretty normal. The asking price on my Jeep a few months ago was 17,900 for a loaded 2006 Limited CRD, I have NAV and everything but bluetooth and built-in Sirius. That was with 37,700 miles on it. I did get them down over a grand and got more than KBB on my outback somehow. you need to make the sale yourself cus a dealer is not going to give you what you want on trade. So 11,500 would be not bad if someone wanted it like that with all the mods done already. why do you want to sell it if you put so much into it? I like your mods I'd keep it if I were you. |

Maybe return it to stock, and sell all the aftermarket parts separately. So you wouldn't loose much... |
