Where can I get some replacement Lower Control Arms and bolts? The dealer wants too much money. |

I think the bolts are dealer only items, but don't quote me! I know they are expensive! But you have to have them. |

Carl...I had to cut mine out due to them being rusted solid. I went to my local salvage yard and got a pair of arms with the bolts for way cheap in comparison to just buying the four bolts from the dealer. Got the bushings as well. |

What size are the bolts for the LCA's? dia. and length? Metric? Can I just use grade 8 bolts or are they "special"? Gonna try and do mine this weekend, hope it's not too late to try and find the bolts.! |

special bolts, they have the cam on them to do the alignment, so can't use just any bolt. |

Thanks Tom. I took my jeep in for an alignment and the dealer broke all 4 lca bolts. Then they proceeded to spend 4 hours getting the bolts out. After all that and not before they called me to let me know. So, they are only going to be charging me for half of the labor and also a 20% discount on the parts since they did not ask me before they went ahead and did the extra work. Each bolt costs $60 |

When you install the new bolts in the control arms cover the bolt's and holes in the lower control arms with alot of ANTISIZE !!! To prevent rusted bolts in the future and make your alignment eazy !!! |
