| Post subject: | 1594 code no Engine Light? |
I replaced my o2 sensor and got engine light to go off, I have been checking to see if codes clear and this morning I now have a 1594 code -battery highy voltage. Seems like it dosen't start strong and if I leave key on for a few minutes the battery light comes on. Had alt checked at Autozone (guy used a multimeter across battery terms and was reading around 14 V - never seen it done like that. Battery is relitively new Diehard replaced about a year ago. Any thoughts? |

Simply checking the voltage at the battery is not a accurate diagnosis method for determining battery health. Since your battery is still pretty new, take it back to Sears and have them load test it or swap it out for a replacement under warranty. |
