I finally got a new front driveshaft, but it has been 3 weeks since I took the old one off and I don't remember which end goes where for sure. I think the telescoping end goes toward the front axle assy? I assume the yellow painted marks on the ends of the driveshaft need to line up with the painted marks on the end it bolts to so that it will be in balance?

Can someone crawl under their jeep and verify this for me please! Thank you very much!

I do believe you are correct. It has been almost 2 months since I pulled mine off and I clearly remember putting the telescopic end to the axel/diff. If you did not know/or have forgotten, stick the rear over the xfer case then slide the front on.
