 Post subject: oil pressure sending unit

Location: Hope, British Columbia, Canada
Replaced the sensor the oil pressure sending unit about 3 years ago (60 000km). Now I am getting the same oil pressure light dinging at idle but as soon as the rpm goes up the light goes out. Is anyone on there second sending unit replacement or do I just have bad luck.
