Looking for the high mileage owners and wondering any major fixes once you crossed the 100,000 mile point of no return marker.

102k, replaced engine (not the jeeps fault. well partly. The majority of it was my fault.)

The only thing that has had to be replaced was the front DS. Same thing that happened to Mudd's happened to mine. It happened to me around 97k.

NINE window regs. I "cured" the problem by locking the windows in the up position. Great, other than that.

This question gets asked a lot. If you do a search I'm sure you'll find more answers beyond what people post here.

My 2002 3.7 ran great till 100,000 miles, when a valve spring broke. Repaired by the dealer, who replaced all the valves at the time. Ran great for almost another 100,000, when a valve seat fell out and tore up the piston and cylinder wall. Replaced the engine and now have 202,000 on the Jeep. Replaced front drive shaft at 200,000. Auto transmission has held up well but I've noticed a couple of funny shifts lately so that will probably be my next big repair.

Other non-major stuff has been pretty typical: A/C compressor around 80K, then the alternator. Throttle position sensor in there somewhere. I think that's about it. Oh, and the radiator.

I think PCT 1981 is in Hawaii. Only so far you can drive there.

It was $1600 and change. There's a new timing chain in that total too. That was in 2006.

Yes, I do live on a rock in the middle of a large pond. I also have a company vehicle so I put as much mileage on this vehicle as possible. The Jeep gets driven pretty much on errands to town on the weekends and the beach runs.
