ahhh tube doors... maybe a possibility, but it would not be rigid enough for any real use with this tubing I have, could make a mock up though... a pre-runner bar for my bumper might work though. I'd need someone with a welder for that however. |

Lawn Furniture. Seriously 3/4" diameter (or even square) is not a very stout cross section for structural items, even it if is thick. Even an 1/8 wall thickness for a lightbar will be a little flimsy. Doors (LOL) Exocage (forehead slap) |

most of this stuff is thicker than 1/8", it was being used to hang rows of sledgehammers/axes/shovels. so it is pretty sturdy. I took a good hard baseball swing at an I-beam at work and barely dented it, so I'm pretty sure it is stable enough for a lightbar, especially if It is braced/built to look like a brush deflector. sort of like the one durangotang made. about 4 pieces were being used to hold rakes/hoes, so it is the thin-walled stuff. anyone in east ohio have a welder and a tube bender? *edit* I believe it is 3/4" inner Dia. |

Ah, sounds like you have some 3/4" pipe, some schedule 40 and some 80. |

I'm also not sure if it is galvanized steel or aluminum... it has been in a non-climate-controlled area in a warehouse for 12+ years and i cant find any rust that wasnt from the screws holding it to the rack, at least as far as I've inspected so far. *edit* it also might be Rigid Conduit |
