Okay, ever since I saw Todd aka phxtoad's awesome mod I wanted to do it to mine so I went ahead and did it....and I took pics of how to to it....there is no need for a tutorial on this one but I am putting one up in hopes it inspires more folks to add this to their KJ's for after trail fun...Oh and it may even help JJ sell his rack...ready....set....go! Here is what you need, a drill a pair of machine screws with nuts and washer and a wall mount bottle opener. Paint if you want to make things look nice. ![]() Bottle openers are like 20 bucks so I found a couple of these hitch ones on clearance at Wally World ![]() For mine I drilled out the rivets that held it to the hitch mount ![]() ![]() Then I painted the screws black then Found a mounting spot on my All J Rack and made sure it would clear the door and marked and drilled the holes. ![]() ![]() I didn't like how the top and bottom weren't flush with the rack so I took them to the rickitty Chinese made grinder ![]() Mount the bottle opener with your screws with nut on back ![]() Shazam! Enjoy a brew....responsibly!

Nice! Sadly I took mine off this last weekend because it was contacting my loose tail gate plastic and making an annoying sqweak. TL |

Great for post trail runs at the campsite or at a tailgating event. Seems a pain to open the rear gate or window everytime though. You should've attached it to the rear or front bumper (if you have an aftermarket bumper). Spare tire mount coming out from the center cap.

Saw one mounted on the drivers side edge of a TJ's front bumper I think OHV had one mounted inside his front fender well, that could have been one of the other CCOR guys though |

The metal rest on the grinder is supposed to be 1/16" from the grinding wheel. But this is a good idea. I would do it if I drank beer often with pop tops. The beer I drink is most often in a can, and I'm usually inside. |

I'm gonna call the SPCCCG (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Cheap Chinese Grinders) on you.
