besides being illegal to run and blinding everyone. KJ headlights are not designed for HIDs of any kind

I believe that link you posted, is just for the bulbs and not the ballasts, you need to find a kit with the ballasts as well.

Definitely read this page first though

If you still want them, this one should work.

In addition to all the posts above (thanks infernicus :SOMBRERO: ) those wouldn't even fit in your headlight housing. Those are made to replace a 9145, which is a foglight bulb.

I just assumed he was looking to replace the fogs, since he didn't mention otherwise.

Good point. I just thought it strange that someone would want to put brighter bulbs in the fog lights and figured that he was looking for headlights.

Safe bet to stay away from ebay stuff. Otherwise, HIDs are totally gangster.

I'm usually a little wary of eBay items, but these work, and have been for three years or so, so they get my approval (not that that means anything)

Well the only reason i was thinking about using hem is that my headlights and fog lights are pitted pretty good. So i was just looking for a solution, any body else have this trouble ? and what did you do? thanks for the info on the bulbs by the way and I decided to go with the Silverstars.. I was told today by another friend with a jeep he said real Jeeps don't even need lights they feel the road. lol.

Are you saying the housings themselves are pitted? If they aren't really deep then I'd suggest looking into a plastic polish, something similar to what is sold for repairing scratched iPod screens. If there is a lot of deep pitting your only real option is replacement. There are a lot of headlight and fog light housings on eBay for pretty cheap, and even some projector fog lights that are designed to replace the OEM fogs perfectly (on '02-04 KJs), though I don't know if anyone here has tried them, so quality is unknown.

After you repair or replace the light housings you can look at getting some headlight protection film. There are a large number of sources for this and it appears that many of them sell pre-cut film for the Liberty.

Well on an episode on Spike TV last weekend, not sure which maybe Muscle Car. Chip Foose was doing up a 2010 Mustang....he sanded the fog & headlight len's with 1000 then cleared it.
I was going to try this....but if you'd like to and let me know how you made out.
:?
