Does anyone know what size the bolts are that are used to mount fuel tank skids. There is 6 of them in the rear 3 on each rear unibody. They are already thread slots. I am guessing some Libertys came with actutally fuel tank skids, but the CRD limited does not.

They all are M12x1.75,no metric thread has a SAE conversion. You will crossthread the holes if using SAE bolts and will not hold properly.

X2...except I've never heard of 7/16 x 1/2"....

You can probably get away with 20 mm + for length if you've just got the gas tank skid going on, and not a hitch / whatever else. FYI if you had them handy.
