i have had both Silverstars and Cool Blues-I got the same results (brightness wise) and the cool blues were cheaper. I like both of them and both are a great product. With my Hella's and Cool blues on snow covered roads it is so bright it hurts to look at the road. Cheap upgrade that anybody could convince to wife to let them get.

I ran the silverstars in my Blazer (well actually my dad put them in a year and a half before i bought the truck from him) and they lasted untill I totalled the truck (was rear ended by a 1-ton dodge at 45 mph). I then installed Cool Blues in my Jeep liberty a day after I bought it. I have had them in for 7 months now and love them. I can't give any REAL opinions on longevity because I have only had them a short while. I have a friend who has had them in his Passat for the past year or year and a half (the reason I decided to try them). They don't come out blue in a projector style lamp like ours but they are VERY white and bright. Worth the $15 IMHO
