Hey guys, the Rock Lizard website hasn't been updated in a while. What's the word on the new products?

Reason is I'm interested in that rock moniter bumber. It seems very light, would it sag on a stock suspension?

Is that their rear bumper with carrier? I'm guessing that would be pretty rough on a stock suspension for sure.

Well that blows,

I guess I order that bumper soon. I think it should work on a stock suspension.

It won't help the front stock suspension out any, but it shouldn't be too bad at only 45 lbs. You're probably only adding 30 lbs after taking off the plastic, and any additional sag shouldn't be noticable from that.

You need to look for a local fab shop, bet they can make exactly what you want for less than the 1100.

It won't be airbag compliant.

I'd love to know what makes them airbag compliant, design & construction wise. My guess is most bumpers would be airbag compliant if you tested them. Yeah it means something, I just have no idea how much it means.

You can still order the RL front bumper. But you need to do it rather quickly.

It means nothing until you get into an accident.

I'd rather take my chances without air bags.

You and that ABS bypassing dude from the other thread should get together and go bowling. A non compliant bumper can cause the airbag to deploy prematurely and a denial of coverage from your INS co. So if you'd rather take your chances without, best bet is the ARB.

That's one reason I love my 03 so much, no wimpy ABS.

When I was T-boned in my last vehicle the air bags never deployed, lot of help they were. I drove for 30 years without all that crap and have made it so far. People need to stop relying on their vehicle to save their lives and learn how to drive.
