Ok I like doing things the right way. I wont skimp or go the cheap route if I dont have to. With that said, is there something I can add to the Franky CRD Premium lift kit Im going to buy to get a little more lift out of it WITHOUT sacrificing or hurting anything? Im not looking for a 4+ inch lift, but maybe a clear 3" out of the deal. Thank you in advance. Tom |

TonyCRD is the only one who has really pushed the envelope on the CRDs Due to the shorter CV on the drivers side you're limited in how high you can go. Why not just install the Frankenlift and see where you are and go from there? Super easy to add later if need be. |

I've done nothing more than the out of the box franky and my rig is a sexual tyrannosaurus. |

Thanks guys. I was just hoping to get as big a tire as resonably possible. |

I roll 235/85R16 MT/R but I acknowledge they're only for the true enthusiast. |

The CRD's are heavier aren't they? A friend of mine with a gasser Libby installed a Frankenlift, not the Franky CRD Premium lift, and got 3" of lift right out of the box. I suppose after a few months on the road it will settle. The advice you're getting is sound. Try out the Franky CRD Premium lift and it it settles any I suppose you could always do a clevis lift to adjust. |

Pablo had one of the original CRD Frankenlifts with the spacer and managed to install it without tearing the CV boots - he's running 235/85/16's too. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2662913/1 although he was looking for better rear springs. |
