I'm trying to hardwire my xm and gps and I came across this harness under the column. any ideas on what it's for?

Looks like a mess to me. Yeah, whats it going to? And I love that switch by the 4x4 lever! I may put me one there if I ever need to add another one. |

Not positive but, kind of looks like someone had a remote starter in it at some point. |

The switch on the console is for my FM modulator. Took me forever to decide on a spot. here's some other close ups of the mystery harness. thanks for the responses so far!

My guess since it looks tied into the wiring in your steering harness is a remote starter of some sort. |

there is only 2 people who know what it is for. GOD and the person who did it. I hate when people remove stuff and leave wiring exposed and not labled. At least put a tag on it saying what it was for or atleast HOT/GROUND/NETURAL when ever i install any kine of wiring, it gets labled, tagged and marked on circut area |
