So last night I took off my rear tire along with the carrier and when I was messing with the rear door I noticed that there is a small rubber....bumper that needs to be replaced. If you open your rear door, on the door there is a sideways U. I need a new Rubber pad that goes within the U. Any idea what it is called or a part number?
Thanks :)
Oh or if you can think of any other item that can be used in its place :D

It might be part 28. It is a rubber...bumper that fits inside #4. Do you know what #28 is?

#28 is a drain plug... I don't know of anything that goes inside #4.

I think I might have to buy a new #4 in order to get the rubber bumper that goes inside. Perhaps I will see if I can make something for it...that might be the way I go, lol.
Thanks Daspes!

Went out and looked at my KJ, and I see the piece you are talking about but it is not shown on the Parts Fiche...

However, I did find part # 04520289 (SPACER, Door Latch Strike) that is listed, but not pictured... Maybe?

I did some searches on that Part# and it looks like that is the.....shackle that is on the frame...or perhaps I should say that loop that the door latches to?
Maybe I just need to adjust that to pull the door closer....maybe. There is a pretty good gap there, I mean if I look in the seam I can easily see the latch between the swing gate and the tail light.
