Hey guys, I'm considering pulling my carpet and putting down some bedliner. I live in the snow/salt/sand/crap belt and I'm getting sick of riding around with crappy, dirty smelly carpets all winter. Not to mention the salt gets caked in there and I have to look at it all summer, too. Just wondering if it's been done before in a Liberty and if so, if there's any pictures.

For some reason I remember someone saying there's a huge wire loom running across the floor or something. |

That vinyl flooring is a good idea! Just kinda pricey. I don't care about the wires, as long as I can collect them all into one big split loom and run it neatly. We shall see... |

![]() ![]() just get some of those... keeps ABSOLUTELY everything off the carpet.. and nice and dry. just have to dump out the water and salt every once and a while. worth their weight in gold. |

I also have the Weathertech Mats but........ I have had my KJ way in over its head lol (Still have a water line on the passenger side door speaker to prove it halfway up). Some of my buddies still call me Submarine lol Cleaning the Carpet of all that water and mud was a PITA for sure it took almost 2 weeks of shampooing and vacuuming to get it mostly out. Also as far as I know the Husky's are slightly better at containing the water due to not having the hold down passing all the way through the driver side front mat. |

my guess is to keep the mat away from the pedal |

Yeah it's actually there to hold the mat away from the pedals. The Husky hold back is molded into the back of the mat. |
