Oh man I think I have just the dumbest set up ever! I have a 07 and I found the parking brake backing plates are held on by 3 aluminum little rivets Of course I went to leave work and heard this aweful squeeling sqeeking sound coming from the rear, turned around and pulled it into the shop. Found all 3 rivets on the right side broken off and the left side is ready to fall off!!!!!!!!!!! I pulled off the shoes (didn't have to pull the axles) and secured the backing plates with cable ties until I can fix it properly (NOT WITH LITTLE RIVETS EITHER!) this weekend
