Just wanted to say THANK YOU to whoever posted the recalls for ball joints on here. I read about it on here the night before I paid someone 350 bux to install the ball joints that I had bought when I put new tires on my car and the guy said he could not align my Liberty cuz it needed ball joints. Went to Jeep Dealer and they said it would be done for FREE!!!!! thanx guys for being so AWESOME with all the info....... any other recalls I could use would be greatly appreciated stylistik@Msn.com if anyone wanna email me with info.. I dont go on here everyday THANX AGAIN GUYS

glad it saved you money, and most of all, got the replaced so its SAFE. now was that for the lowers? is there a recall for the uppers as well?

Only the Lower Ball Joints have been recalled.

There was rumor about an investigation and or recall for the upper ball joints last summer but that never went anywhere. It probably won't go anywhere either since Chysler filed for bankruptcy and isn't obligated to do much of anything for former product issues.
