So I'm missing a nut for my front rancho 17505.
I got them from JBA and the box had like 4 holes in it, Same with the other one. Good thing that one didn't fall out.
So what should I do? What size nut to I need?

I was about to leave when I was making sure I had everything and then noticed the nut was missing.
I wonder If I could use the nut off the old strut.

That is a locknut, there are many versions where the ones that where supplied are just crushed so they look oval to prevent backing off.

If I remember they are a standard 3/8" course thread nut.Just go and get some 3/8" course thread grade 8 nuts and some washers. After putting the washer and nut on and tighten them thread on a second nut and lock against the 1st one, called double nutting(sounds bad  ) but it's the poor mans locking nut and works very well.Just throw away the oval locknut for the other side(after getting the correct nuts).

So I do that on one side and use the oval on the other side? Or the double nut on both sides?

I'm just gonna use the locking nut on one side and the double nut on the other.

What you should do is call JBA or Rancho and let them know you are misssing parts. I have no doubt they will send them to you at no charge. If you don't use the proper supplied parts you have no hope of a warranty. Just my :2cents:
