Last night I drove 20 min. When I got home and went to lock the Jeep...nothing. None of the buttons on the keyfo worked. They had just worked perfectly moments beore! This morning..again getting into the Jeep none of the buttons worked, had to insert the key into the door to unlock. I drive 10 min to get to work, bam, the keyfob buttons all work perfectly when I get out. What the heck is going on?

Maybe its starting to go bad. Just strange it didnt work last night or this morning then magically after driving around a bit it worked fine. Do you need to reprogram if you replace the battery?

You shouldn't, but you should try and get the new battery in as quickly as possible for good measure, on the off chance that loss of battery does cause any problems.
