Yeah, the Select-Trac II was the only significant change relating to off-road capability that I could find.

I like the wheels.. Maybe the only nice factory alloy for the platform yet. Better than the steelies we have.

Looks like a Sport to me. A disgrace to the Renegade name. Though I am sure the CJ crowd felt the same when the KJ got the name also.

It's about time for Jeep to screw things up and change the body again after only 2-3 yrs with current design. They think that everything needs a makeover after two to three years.

That's why aftermarket support is so bad for them. Toyota used to do that too and now look at it.. I have a 78 Celica that the neutral safety is 350.00 from RockAuto and unavailable from my work and the correct one of the 4 alternators had to come from KY. Bad business practice I think but what do I know...

X3. What a yawn. While there are things I like about the look, Jeeps aren't supposed to be all about looks. There isn't any new/better capability here. To me, the Renegade name means something and thi isn't it. :(

It isn't new. It has been an option on KKs for a while (I just looked in a 2009 brochure and it was there... I think it was available in 2008 also).

I like but it needs a few changes to make it perfect for me. Leather Seats, a 2 inch lift, light bar, and a CRD engine. There if they did that it would be an awsome replacement for us CRDer's

for an extra $1000 or whatever the price it is, it is not worth it...for who ever does not know the difference they will get it just for looks, but more power to them :D
