Post subject:  Best way to attatch this to my jeep???
So Terry gave me this yesterday when we went wheeling in the ONF.
Its not sticky anymore and I have no clue how to stick it on.
Ideas??

The ones I put on my side window were put on with OUTDOOR 3M DOUBLE SIDED TAPE. Now I'm going to take them off so I'll report how well they stick. Whatever you use you will have to take the old stuff off first. The 3M stuff came from Ace Hardware.

The outdoor variety double-side tape would be good, or if you can find some the adhesive tape they use to attach cell phone/mobile radio antennas to car windows would be a good choice. Should be able to use acetone or goo-gone to remove the old sticky stuff, then wipe down with some rubbing alcohol to make a clean surface and attach the tape.

Tape mastic is the stuff we used to bond steel roof panels together. Better not want it to come off if you use it though.

If this comes off it'll probably be because I'll be diggerizing it. :D

I'll look for the outdoor 3M and tape mastic at work tomorrow night. Probably get whatever is cheapest.

I've used the 3M 2 sided emblem tape, gray, same thing that is used on vent visors/headlight covers/ etc. Pretty much stuck once you put it on.

About 3 Lag Screws aprox 8" long.....that should about do it. :D

I got my lettering etc off. The 3M tape that I used worked very well.
