Post subject:  Rear door won't fully open
not the big back door, but the rear drivers side door. pops open about a half inch and that's it. :dunno: Happened soon after that door's window regulator broke and was holding the window up with duct tape (will be fixing that with the Steiger Performance repair kit). Any thoughts? The interior panel is off and so far violence isn't helping. :(

is the door opening like an inch but not fully unlatching?

when one of my rear window regs failed, something had fallen down and was sitting ontop of the door latch mechanism preventing the door from fully unlatching

seems the reg cable has a tendency of shooting out the end of its tube and into the latch mechanism. took some effort, but I freed it up. :BANANA: now I just gotta get to fixing the window....
