Trans flush new trans filter and new trans pan the old pan was starting to rust thru bought my 02 Liberty at 181000KM (112500m) decided a little maintenance on the transmission wouldn't hurt seeing as I'm now at 191000KM (118700m) |

I'm actually heading to the shop to have mine flushed in the next 5 minutes. This weekend I'm going to drop the pan and change the filter as well. Also doing the axles, tc, and engine this weekend. |

I just did mine for the first time last week (70,000). Everything went smoothly, I got it all back together, drove it all week with no leaks. Then Saturday when I get back from Reno, I get a nice little drip drip drip coming from the pan . I tried to tighten the pan a little which has slowed the leak a little (and probably stripped one of the bolts) but it's still there. It's a slow enough leak that I'm debating whether or not I want to fix it before the next fluid change. $4-5 per quart, 6 quarts, I'm not anxious to spend that money again, and then have a the possibility of a continued leak. Needless to say, next time I will use plenty of silicone. |
