Hey all, It's been a while since I have been on the board. My left rear window reg. went out yesterday and was wondering what I could do to block up the window? What could I use? I am the only one who rides in the KJ so if I can't roll it down its no real big deal.

Thanx in advance

I just pushed the window all the way up and wrapped wire ties around the tracks at the base of the window. It's held for a year so far.

x2 what JL said

i used two different temp fixes, i used one of those felt covered coat hangers, made a slight hook on the end, fished it down the inside of the door and found the edge of the bottom of the window, tensioned the window up, pulled the slack out of the hanger, then hooked it around the door handle

or.. packing tape lol :(

Thanks guys, I already secured the window in the up position  . I did snap a few of those pop rivets :furious: but I can buy some for when I fix it next week. Need to order the parts also. At least my window won't come down by itself now; it's gonna be over 100 F for the next couple of days.

Thanks again
