Ok, So I have been looking into roof baskets fort a while now and thought I had made up my mind. Then yesterday I passed by a lost member on 95south (I wasnt in my KJ otherwise I would have just asked) with the EXACT thing I want to do. He had an 03 KJ Renny (as do I) but he had a roof basket that fit insit the stock plastic "roof basket". It only stuck out from the top maybe 1" or so. Anyone know what roof basket this is and where I can get it? His KJ was the cactus green with silver renegade sticker on the hood and the "Lost KJ" sticker on the rear bumper. Maybe he'll see this post and tell me himself otherwise......help me out please everyone. |

black widow roof rack fits between the rails and can be mounted low.. this is the picture of my rack on the prior owners jeep (mehkick)

Yes that roof rack, where can I get it and what do i need to install it. It cant go higher then the one I already have (the stock plastic one). If I could fit it inside the stock one that owuld be great but I'm also fine with removing it. I park in a parking garage for work and with my lift and 30's I clear the height by only 2inches so I need to be careful about height. Let me know. |
