Hi, does anyone know if the door moulding bump strip from a later kj stainless steel type will fit an earlier 2004 model. Are they held on with double sided tape or trim clips. |

02-07 Is the same on the door moldings. Held on by 2 way tape...little pins 1 inch/12mm are on the back for lining up the moldings....Chris |

I have been thinking about taking mine off. I wasn't sure if there were any holes in the door, hearing that it is just tape has me thinking again. |

Yeah, if you don't replace them with something else, or reshape the door with bondo or something, it would look quite funny.. I thought about replacing the ones that have "Liberty" 'engraved' in the plastic with the earlier model style that just has a little "ripple" in it. |
