Dang this place has grown from our little group on JU and Dillinger... Remember him?!

Of the originals from when we started back in late '02 how many of us are left?

I know Liberty Patriot has moved on, he still visits, but not often....
DarbyWalters/Libety4all Is so busy with work and marathon/bicycle training, that he has not been on here much at all, nor even been able to wheel much when I go down to SA...

I am here, when still in country... Sarted in Midwest, moved to Rockies... Hopefully NW or Alaska next!

The west guys are really active...how many of you guys were in the original group anyway??? Continue to Take charge and run with it, how you find the time, I have no clue!!!! Great Job!!!

Signcutter and Chemguy still chime in a bit, But where are the rest of our original 15 member core from the original EZBoard club?

I love how we have grown and more of you have converted to the dark side of the Jeep brand, and we have continued to stay positive and not become what we abandoned over at JU.

This has been a lot of fun wheeling and chatting with everyone... BTW, what is the status of a chat feature??? I think JJ and I will behave  From wheeling in Kansas and Mo to Texas to the Carolinas group at Uwharie and here in CO. This is truly an Awesome group!

I am not saying that the original group is better, I am just reminissing the old days and got to thinking... Especially how I do not remember the original crew... If my memory is this bad now, I don't want to get older!!!!

Ahhhh...the good 'ol days.........

JU was my 1st introduction into the KJ and man what a mess. THat was when they still let dillhole in the KJ forum. I got a kick out of how upset he got over the KJ.

I can still remember passing the 50, 100, 200, 300....etc. member marks on the Sleezy board. My how it has grown. Funny thing is during my 1st few months I didn't even have a KJ as I had just started shopping.

So you are not going to look to get transferred to Cali huh Ted?!

I kind of miss arguing with Deano even before the first KJ's were off the truck. You could reel that fool in with out even baiting the hook!

As for turning to the dark side...I almost bought a Rubicon at the end of the year, but decided I'd rather be a little different. That's how I roll.

Yep started out on the JU site as well and meet some outstanding folks that but I am really digging the new forum here. Growing bigger every day but still run like a small site with all kinds of great info for the KJ world. later...clint

I was on JU since early '02, though never posted much. Man, I still remember all the feces we got from Dillinger & the gang. Funny how they haven't changed, though many have now accepted the KJ. I don't visit that site very often any more. This board is sooooooo much better.
I also remember meeting the gang on one of our first trail rides. I think it was White Mountain. I wasn't sure what to expect, but everyone turned out to be really cool. (Clint still had the long hair! :D )

I'm still around. Don't post much but I know for a year and a half I was on this board everyday. I joined the old board at about 340 people. I lurked on the old board for three months before I joined to post. Hah...old habit die hard. I also was posting on the board like a pro for 6 months before I got my KJ. Anyway........glad the board has grown and I'm proud that we have kept a great community going.

I am fairly new to the board but I have a question to you originals...I read somewhere that LOST was started as a joke to the other Jeepers...is that true? Who besides Darby had a hand in starting it?

It was kind of a goof when it first started. Darby Walters, Clint, and I think a couple others are who started it it originally to get away from all the BS on JU. IIRC, The name was the goof part but the whole idea caught on so well with those involved that they ran with it. Now it has gone crazy and turned into what you see today.
L.O.S.T. is recognized as one of the most positive web forum groups around in the Jeep or off road world. It has had It's share of lumps now and then but through hard work and lots of involvement it has stayed a great place to hang out w/out all the BS associated with other sites. What other forum/ nationwide Jeep organization do you know of that has been featured in a manufacturers model brochure? IT isn't by chance that Jeep mentioned L.O.S.T. in their Liberty brochure. It is because JEEP recognizes us as a Positive place for Jeep owners to discuss our passion/hobby. This forum Could grow into an even better place for the owners of Jeep vehicles regardless of model. All it would take is the same positive attitude and hard work. There are plenty of Jeep owners out there wanting a positive place to hang out and call home. We Can turn L.O.S.T. into That place if we chose to.

This is true, I tried to find the archived post on jeeps unlimited, but it doesn't go back far enough. If I remember correctly, Wally, Steve, Dennis, Mike, myself, probably Ted, and some others whom I can't remember just goofed around on a thread and assigned membership number & titles for one another LOL. Then it became real!

I bought my Liberty in Sept.2001. found the old board in 2002. I was just lurking around and gathering info on what I wanted to do to my Liberty. I joined I think late 02 or early 03 not sure. and then followed you all over here. Just keep up the great work guys and girls.
