Not sure where to post. I have an 03' Renny and just the other day, when I would press the unlock for the doors using my key fob. Normally the drivers door would unlock only and then when pressed twice all the doors would unlock. Now they all unlock at the same time when I press the unlock on the key fob once! Is this a problem with the receiver unit or......? |

No problem. I was just going through my owners manual the other day and there's a way to change what the button does on the first press. Don't have the manual around but it was something along the lines of, hold down the unlock button for 4 to 10 seconds then press unlock again and it should unlock all doors at once. You can also change the parking light indicators when you unlock the doors and turn off the horn chirp when you lock the doors using a similar method. When I pull the manual out again I'll give you the specifics.

I'm new to the KJ's. Hell I'm new to anything with power locks so I just had to read through the whole manual. Glad I was able to bring some knowledge to the forums since most the time I'm just asking random stupid questions. So what's 4Lo mean and how do I use it? |

I you have an EVIC you can change all that stuff in the menu on there. can change unlock to drivers first/all, beep horn on lock/arm, flash park lights on lock/arm, head light delay, service interval and more via the evic 4Lo is a 4 wheel drive mode for very rough or slippery conditions, use it off road or in deep snow and the like... not on dry roads and I wouldn't even on wet roads. 4Lo locks the front and rear if you are not on a surface that the wheels can slip some there will be binding |

Thanks for the 4lo definition. I guess my sarcasm didn't come across well enough in my writing but I do appreciate you taking to time to respond. but it was a complete joke. |

There are very few stupid questions here... that has been asked before. you never know who may not know how to use the 4 wheel drive systems or are new to it all. |
