OK I had it this time!

Plugs changed, Coils changed, fuel filter changed, injectors changed, PCM changed, cam sensor, changed.
Dealer can not figure out the problem. 150146K and this has been an issue for over 50K now. I can not figure out the problem. if the dealy don't know what the P300 is being caused by, then what good are they? I am sure I am not the only one who ever had the random miss fire...

Next step: TOURCH THE F-BOMB! :dead:

What about the wires connected to the coil pack plugs? Maybe a cracked. shorted or slightly damaged wire?

What I get to deal with day in and day out, gotta love modern FI diagnoses where you almost need a electrical and mechanical engineering degree just to preform.

2 steps left before it's time to rip apart the engine and break out the micrometers.

1-change out the knock sensors
2-try running a higher octane gas

Thanks Troy. I will change the knocks this weekend. I have not run anything higher that 87 for a long time. Since BIG OIL shoved 4 beans a gal gass our way. But every oil change 3k I dump in injector cleaner/treatment

NOTE: Over or under tightening the sensor mounting
bolts will affect knock sensor performance, possibly
causing improper spark control. Always use
the specified torque when installing the knock sensors.
REMOVAL
The 2 knock sensors are bolted into the cylinder
block under the intake manifold (Fig. 20).
NOTE: The left sensor is identified by an identification
tag (LEFT). It is also identified by a larger bolt
head. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) must
have and know the correct sensor left/right positions.
Do not mix the sensor locations.
(1) Disconnect knock sensor dual pigtail harness
from engine wiring harness. this connection is made
near rear of left valve cover (Fig. 20).
(2) Remove intake manifold. Refer to Engine section.
(3) Remove sensor mounting bolts (Fig. 20). Note
foam strip on bolt threads. This foam is used only to
retain the bolts to sensors for plant assembly. It is
not used as a sealant. Do not apply any adhesive,
sealant or thread locking compound to these bolts.
(4) Remove sensors from engine.

But now you stated that you over use injector cleaner that could be a issue also, your cat's may be messed up now also, not 100% but over using that stuff tends to mess them up and your O2 sensors.

I thought you were done with that Brian.

Try changing your gas brand. Try a different major brand fuel than what you were using..

I think Troy is right about the injector/fuel system cleaner. I only run it about 2x a year. Techron fuel system cleaner and then run it good on the highway like when I am going on a trip.

If you think I can help let me know. I can bring down the FSM, code reader, and my half a brain....haha

Call my cell any time.

Thank you Troy. Yea I guess I over use that stuff. I figured now that the KJ is over 150K, I should kinda keep the engin and fuel sys as clean as I can. But this problem started way before I started to use the treatment alot. I used it every 25K when I changed my plugs untill I hit 100K then it wnet to every 3K with gas treatment.
