Ever since I had the lift put on my kj about 2 months ago, it seems that it is not shifting right. When I have to slow down for a turn or someone turning in front of me, I hit the gas and it doesn't want to go anywhere until I almost floor it, then it downshifts. Also I noticed last night while driving on the express way, I was holding at 70 and when I wanted to accelerate I had to floor it to get it to downshift, just so I could speed up a little. Plus it seems that the RPMs are running a little high at certain speeds. Even driving around town it just feels like its not shifting at the right times. Any suggestions? Would a pinion reset correct this? |

You haven't switched tires to taller ones have you? Should all be the same as before, just taller! How long since you've done a tuneup? |

No I still have the same tires. Yesterday I had the plugs changed, oil changed, t case, both diffs changed, and new pcv valve. |
